1. Face masks are required
To help protect you and ourselves, we wear protection equipment such as face shields, masks and gloves. Please wear a face mask when you arrive for your flu shot as required by current executive order.
2. Vaccines are by appointment only
Our vaccines are pharmacist-administered and by appointment only. By scheduling your time, it allows us to properly clean between vaccinations.
Anyone over 18 years of age who fills out the screening consent form is eligible. We have ordered both the standard flu vaccine and the high-dose preparation. Ask about availability when you schedule.
3. Fill out the consent form
To avoid any delay in receiving your vaccine, download the vaccine consent form that follows, then fill it out and bring it with you to the appointment. The form has all the information required to administer your vaccination. Be sure you are filling out the form for the same day you are planning to receive your vaccine.
Make sure to bring your identification and insurance card with you. We expect a zero-dollar co-pay under the university prescription benefit, excluding individuals with Medicare Part B. Contact your insurance carrier for complete plan information.
4. Wait 15 minutes after receiving the flu vaccine
Like any injection administered, there is the possibility for a reaction. To ensure your safety, we require anyone receiving a vaccination to remain on-site for 15-minutes afterward.
5. Our drive-through flu vaccine events are suspended
We have suspended our flu vaccine events for November and December at the MSU Pavilion due to the uncertainty of future flu vaccine shipments.
In-pharmacy appointments are now available at both our locations offering maximum access without compromising our ability to deliver the vaccine.
Appointments are scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm at the following locations:
